ACCOMMODATION

Kalajärvi Resort provides a wide range of accommodation options, with the 150-bed capacity offering something for everyone. The cabins in the area are equipped to a variety of standards, and range from small campsite cabins to high-quality, fully equipped cottages and villas.  Kalajärvi’s campsite has been awarded a four-star rating in the Scandinavian campsite classification system. Cabins are available within walking distance of the resort’s services, restaurant and beach. Accommodation is available on all sides of the lake, including a farm B&B close to the resort.

Kalajärvi caravan site

The caravan site with 300 caravan pitches, which is open all year round, is run by SF Caravan Seinäjoen seutu ry. You can make reservations or find more information on the caravan site, services and spaces for cars and caravans on the SF Caravan Kalajärvi’s website.

Holiday lets and cabins

The resort offers a wide range of cabins for rent. Some of the cabins can be booked via booking.com or other online systems (use Peräseinäjoki as the location). However, to ensure availability, you are advised to contact the owner directly. Last minute queries about available accommodation can be made via Seinäjoen Matkailuyrittäjät’s helpline on +358 40 684 2220 (every day at 10.00 – 20.00).

RESTAURANT KALAJÄRVI BEACH

Restaurant Kalajärvi Beach is the resort’s beating heart. The restaurant’s windows and veranda offer stunning views across the lake. During the summer season, the restaurant, which is licensed to serve alcohol, offers delicious pizzas and hamburgers, in addition to snacks served at the café. At the restaurant, you can also hire equipment and buy tickets for the area’s activities.

The restaurant’s live performers and DJs guarantee a great atmosphere on summer evenings and at events held on winter weekends, including dances, karaoke nights and theatre and other themed events. Because the restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol, the age limit after 9 pm is 18. The outdoor area of the restaurant houses the popular Kalajärvi dance hall, which hosts daytime and evening dances a couple of times a month during the summer season.

In winter, the restaurant is open to groups by special agreement and for limited hours during winter events.
